It is coming up fast and furious now, Thanksgiving and just as importantly the day after thanksgiving sales 20111!  One thing I have learnt over the last few years is that preparation is vital if you want to make the most of the sales that will be on Friday 25th November 2011.

Day after thanksgiving sales are famous as they have become an occasion of real spending and excess. I do not think that the day after thanksgiving sales 2011 will be any different, in fact I think we may see a bigger spend than we have seen in many years.

Sony have just announced they will no longer be paying for people's 3D glasses in the cinema. Many of the film studios are considering producing less 3D films as they are not having the massive sales that they had expected.
I think that the Day After Thanksgiving Sales 2011 will see unprecedented deals on 3D Tv sets as the companies try to clear out some of their backlog. It is just a fact that most consumers will not change their TV every year, if they bought a 52 inch set at last years black Friday sale they are not going to go and buy a 3D TV this year when their other one still works just fine.

Why are they known as Black Friday Sales? Because traditionally this is the day when stores go into the black, so everything they sell from then till the end of the year is profit. The day after thanksgiving sales weekend, which now includes Cyber Monday, is going to be vital for many companies. It could very well be make or break for many companies in the retail sector.

So what are you looking for in the 2011 after thanksgiving sale? Are you already working on a list of things that your family want, things that may well be just a bit too expensive right now but if they appear at the right price then you will snap them up.

Think about what would really make his eyes light up, will it be the Cheap LCD TV , the Thanksgiving laptop deal or maybe he is a video game nut and would like the Nintendo Wii 

Thanksgiving Toy Sales - There are always good deals on toys at the day after thanksgiving sale events but I think this year will be something special Toys r Us and Walmart are sure to kick it! Just be careful not to get sucked into buying a nintendo wii at a bargain price and then realize that you can't afford the toys or the extra nintendo wands that are needed. 

One of the really popular items last year was the Barbie dreamhouse. At 3ft tall this one isn't going to be easy to top. However I think the new video barbie may just do it.

The Day after thanksgiving sales are always something that fills the TV news and the newspapers both before and after the event. Don't leave it until after the event to decide you really do want a new TV, day after thanksgiving sales only come around once a year so make the best of it.
