Walgreens Thanksgiving Sale

Walgreens unlike most other stores is actually starting their sale on Thanksgiving Day rather than waiting until Black Friday. Walgreens Thanksgiving Sale 2011 will start at 9am-6pm and it may well be worth going shopping on that day and then go back again the next day for more.

We always hear lots of talk about the Huge Tv's and bargain LCD TV's that are on sale in all the big box retailers. Walgreens features bargains that we use every day. I know many places concentrate on how to save $100 on a TV, but what if you could get a years worth of toothpaste or underarm deodrant for free?

Sure it takes some work but it is perefectly possible with walgreens register rewards. Buy toothpaste for $1.99 and you get a reward coupon for $1.99 which you can use for your next purchase of..toothpaste and on it goes!

If you are like us and have 2 walgreens stores in town then you could do this all day and have a years supply of toothpaste quickly. There are at least 6 items shown in the Walgreens Black Friday Ads that you could do this with. Times are hard at the moment and this is a perfect way to save some money during the Thanksgiving sales while getting something you will actually use.

Snuggies -These are the joke gift that will not die and Walgreens are doing them at $9.99 which is a good price, but they also give you $2 in Register rewards so it is like paying $7.99 each. These are great gifts for people who feel the cold, come on Grandma wrap up warm.

Video Games - This year you will only have to spend $20 to get a guitar hero copycat or a console that looks like a nintendo wii. Whilst these are not the real thing, at $20 I think these could make fun gifts for Christmas day.

Walgreens may not be the place where you will be going to buy a Cheap LCD TV this thanksgiving but if you are looking for stocking fillers or small items to give to all the nieces and nephews then they are the perfect place to shop this thanksgiving.
