I think that buying a Internet ready blu ray player that allows you to stream netflix,pandora,hulu and even YouTube is a great idea.

Since so many people have a high speed internet connection it seems to make sense that you should use it to its max. By using a blu ray player to watch programs from Netflix you could actually save money.

Like everything electronic you will see many different brands and offers during the day after thanksgiving sales so take some time to think about what you need and then look at the offers.

Some blu ray players can now work from a wireless connection while others will actually need to be connected by a ethernet cable to your modem. While it is nice to not have any cables around your living room you should also be aware that in most cases a wireless connection won't be as fast as a connection made through a lead.

A slower connection can result in you having to watch a lesser quality version of a film. So you may want to consider the balance between no wires and a lower quality viewing experience.
